Taking place on the weekend of 26-28 March 2010
This residential weekend will provide personal and professional development for counsellors, therapists, teachers, medical and other professionals for whom the quality of the working relationship is critical to the effectiveness of service provision. As practitioners we endeavour to develop our potential and to take responsibility for more of our lives whilst encouraging others to do the same.
I found the course really useful and a real growing experience. I didn't know what to expect but found as the course progressed I gained a lot of insight and was able to transfer some of my new skills and knowledge into working with my clients. A really valuable, inspiring yet challenging course.
L.H. (Counsellor)
What to expect of this workshop
The weekend workshop will take place at Minsteracres Retreat Centre, located in beautiful Northumberland, well known for its homely atmosphere, warm hospitality and tranquillity. Set in approximately 90 acres of lawns, parks and woodland, it is the perfect venue for this workshop.
Working in a group size of between 6 and 12 participants, we will be offering a number of experiential activities for working individually and in small groups. Participants are encouraged to raise their personal awareness and consider how this can influence and inform their personal and professional life. All materials needed for the workshop will be provided on the day along with lunch and other refreshments.
